The MP3 250 engine produces 22.5 horsepower at 8,250 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 15.5 pound-feet (lb-ft) of torque at 6,750 RPM. Each model has a maximum fuel capacity of 3.2 gallons, which gives the bike a great driving range. The continuously variable transmission that the engine is paired with permits unlimited shifting through an unlimited number of effective gear ratios, thus improving fuel efficiency. The MP3 250 has the best fuel economy, with a gas mileage range of 60 to 65 miles per gallon (mpg).
